Cricket Australia (CA) continually seeks to improve staff well-being. Understanding what influences motivation and overall engagement levels is challenging without on-going data capture.

CA used the Pulse App to gain a deeper understanding of employee motivation and human needs within their Community Department staff members. This was achieved through answering repeated survey questions over a two-week period to support anecdotal evidence collected during workshops.

The results generated new insights on social connection, economic pressures, purpose, autonomy, competence and relatedness. By capturing daily data, it eliminated the ‘point of time’ data inconsistencies to help shape new employment engagement programs.
