Governance & risk review

Who is actually accountable, and can you show it?

Duties don't sit with documents, they sit with people. Section 21(3) puts obligations on you for workers you don't employ, and officers carry a due-diligence duty personally. Most operations have never mapped who holds what.

What you get

  • Duties mapped to actual roles, including contractors and labour hire
  • Where sign-off authority sits, and where it silently doesn't
  • Single points of failure, the person whose absence stops compliance
  • How incidents and hazards escalate, and where they stall
  • What an officer would need to demonstrate due diligence

When this is the right call

  • You use contractors or labour hire and share duties with a host
  • Nobody in the business owns WHS full time
  • Your board or officers have asked what their exposure is
  • Sign-off happens by habit rather than by defined authority
